Collaboration agreement between Telethon Foundation and Rare Partners

Milan, September 30, 2013. Telethon has renewed the agreement with Rare Partners Srl for the development of diagnostic tools and therapeutic approaches based on the results of research projects funded by the Telethon Foundation.
Under this agreement, Rare Partners , a non profit organization founded in 2010 in Milan and dedicated to the development of new solutions in the field of rare diseases, will continue to provide the Telethon Foundation with its skills and its network of experts for activities involving analysis and evaluation of possible applications in therapeutic and diagnostic fields.

The Telethon Foundation is a major Italian biomedical charity, founded in 1990 at the behest of a group of patients with muscular dystrophy.
Its mission is to attain the treatment of rare genetic diseases through scientific research of excellence, selected according to the best practices shared at the international level.
