From Jim Morrison Alessandro Sidoli, Best Personal Fundraiser 2014, takes the phrase that better represents himself. A phrase that has marked his fundraising campaign and the best Personal Fundraiser Award he won on April, 2014.
€ 24,392 donations for the project RespiroDiCorsa, for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. Many contacts, method and determination, but most of all a lot of heart.
This is the formula that allowed Alessandro and Rare Partners to win the Best Fundraiser Award, the prize associated to the Milano City Marathon 2014.
A life dedicated to biotechnology, Alessandro is co-founder and CEO of Axxam SpA and Chairman of Assobiotec, the Italian Association for the Development of Biotechnology.
The 90s saw him as founder and chief executive of Primm Srl, one of the first Italian companies in biotechnology, and Director of Technology Transfer at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. In 1986 he became director of the laboratory of the Institute of Biotechnology Sieroterapico of Milan, which he directed until 1989.In 1982 he began his scientific career as a researcher at the Department of Biotechnology of Farmitalia Carlo Erba and, later, at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology (Oxford University, UK). He is the author of about 50 scientific publications and several national and international patents. Student of the College Ghislieri Alexander has a degree in Biology from the University of Pavia. And when daoesn’t he work? Multi-faceted character, always volcanic and tireless in their free time, Alexander is skier, runner, lover of mountain bike .... and dad.
